Instructions for Calculations
Language and Form:
Language is based on the consistent structure of the alphabet. The value of each letter is determined by its position relative to all other letters. Language is the symbolic representation of physical life. However, although language, naming things and situations, symbolizes form, it is in itself form.
Names:
Naming a child at birth, or changing one’s name through marriage, by choice, or other circumstance, creates a form-based identity that affects the structure of the cells and determines thought patterns through which the person will perceive this world.

Notice that the A, the J, and the S are under the 1 in the chart and thus hold the quality of one. The B, the K, and the T likewise, are in the 2nd column and have the quality of two, and so on.
Vowels, the Soul Level:
Vowels, sounds coming ultimately from the solar plexus, have a more intense vibration of their particular quality. The combination of vowels forms the soul level of the name:

Total = 6 soul
Consonants and Expression:
Adding the combination of the consonants to the soul level, identifies the vibration of expression:

R=9
M=4
+ N=5
Total = 21
All numbers must be reduced to a single digit, therefore 2 + 1 = 3.
The consonant total is 3.
6 (soul) + 3 (total of consonants) = 9 (expression)
Here is a second example:
9 1 5 = 15 = 1 + 5 = 6 soul

Total = 6 + 9 = 15 = 1 + 5 = 6 expression
Exception:
When there are no other vowels but y, then y is counted as a vowel.
Example:
7 = 7 soul

Total = 7 + 4 = 11 = 1 + 1 = 2 expression
Destiny:
The combination of first and last names defines the destiny, or the experience that is offered to an individual on a daily basis. More information on destiny is provided later in the course.
First Name and Birth Path:
The first name, or name most used, has the greatest impact upon a person’s expression. For the name analyst, attention must be paid to how this identity vibrates with the birth path – the life force as it comes through the body – that which began as a separately functioning form with its first breath, initiating its unique mathematical arrangement in relation to time and space.
Birth Path:
Learn how to determine the birth path by using the Kabalarian method.
Example: Birth date: December 9, 1959.
Be certain that the month is first, the day second, and the year third.
Minor Birth Paths:
The first minor birth path spans the period of time from the first breath to the 27th birthday. The second minor begins at the 27th birthday and extends to the 54th. The third minor begins at the 54th birthday and continues its influence until the last breath.
Example: December = 12th month, 1 + 2 = 3 first minor
9th day = 9 middle minor
1959 = 1 + 9 + 5 + 9 = 24 = 2 + 4 = 6 final, or last minor
Major Birth Path:
The major birth path is the underlying life direction from the first breath to the last. The major birth path is the combination of the 3 minors, reduced to a single digit:
Example:
3 + 9 + 6 = 18 = 1 + 8 = 9 major life path or birth path.
Or:
3 9 6 = 9 major birth path

Life Lessons
Water: Those born to a middle minor (represented by the day of the month) that reduces to a single digit of 1, 5 or 7 are of the Water Group.
Fire: Those born to a middle minor that reduces to 2, 4 or 8 are of the Fire Group.
Air: Those born to a middle minor that reduces to the single digit of 3, 6 or 9 are of the Air Group.
